Theme of my project

For my project I am going to be focusing on weather and it's surroundings. I think it is going to be very interesting as I can incorporate things such as lighting, landscapes and maybe black and white to it, this means I can experiment with lot's of different techniques throughout the course.
I chose weather because it allows me to use other types of contrast, but will also give me a good opportunity to practice my editing skills on Photoshop. Also landscapes are my favorite type of photography as you can capture lots of different moods based on colors and tones.

I think researching a photographer called Jim Red will be a good start to my project as he produces lots of high quality images related to my theme. I will then carry on researching my theme and developing it further until I reach a final outcome.

    I think this is a good focus for your contrast theme. You can also think about how there is contrast within seasons - like how in autumn you can have rain and sunshine. How there is contrast when the seasons change - the leaves dropping, the temperature changing, how the colors change. Think about locations and research into these places.
