I have so far researched Terry Richardson, i like his style however if i were to do photographs like this there is a possibility they could look tacky but i will have a go anyway. For 'Highs' I want the photographs to be vibrant and bright. For 'Lows' I want the photographs to be dull.
The photograph above was taken in a nightclub, I like the way the light goes from the DJ booth to the speakers like an electrical current :)
Kerry - an interesting idea for your project. I think that to fully understand the experience you need to think about how you will present this work so that we can immediately understand the before and after that you want us to see. Perhaps diptych's would be appropriate. Also, think about how you will be affected on your night out - reflect in your journal about your experiences watching this happen, your view point, and if you were also under the influence. I think the strength of this image is the representation of people through the movement of light.
